Vortel is not in business to trick you into paying for something you don’t need. Our products and prices are easy to understand and aren’t designed to surprise you with hidden charges. It’s easy to make Internet-based communication seem much more complicated than it really is. We like technology, but we’re not here to razzle-dazzle you with it. We simply want to use it to help make life & work both easier and even more fun.

We believe in transparency

We want to be as open, honest, and transparent as we can reasonably be. We don't keep secrets or hide behind fancy marketing spin. We believe an informed customer is our best customer. Should something go wrong, we'll tell you.

We believe in Europe

Even though we live in an evermore global age, most of our competitors act as if all you want to do is dial your beloved aunt in Hildesheim. Vortel knows that many of its customers work, live -- and love – in the new borderless Europe, and we’re excited about that. So we offer flat-rate calling plans for 21 countries as well as “just” Germany. We make our website available in multiple languages (with more to come). So if your job or lifestyle has you spending 6 months in London, two years in Barcelona or just every other weekend in Istanbul, Vortel wants to make your life easier. We believe in "easy on, easy off"

Signing up for Vortel takes about 10 minutes, and we'll never make signing up feel like a government background check. No one likes long term contracts or early termination fees. We're no different. That's why Vortel bills private users on a month-to-month basis. You can decide how long you’d like to use us. And, while we'd certainly hate to see you cancel, we'll never make that process intimidating or confusing. A "cancel my account" command is easy to find on your account page. There's no email to send, no special form to fill out, no strange deadline based on how many weeks there are until the end of the Mayan Haab. Just click and we'll say “see you later” (never goodbye).

We believe in flexibility and creativity

Vortel isn't about doing it our way, it's about doing it your way.
